No, that DF info has nothing to do with it. It is a smaller great destroyer with a knob to control a gain stage that is fixed on TGD. So, for our purposes, more tweaking of clicking, bleeping, farting type stuff.

Ah - actually, I got the "oscillation control" concept from the description on the Fuzzhugger page:

"A FuzzHugger.com-exclusive, the Secret Destroyer packs all
the controls of the Great Destroyer--plus an added Oscillation
control--into a smaller mysterious silver box marked only with
an X."

Mebbe Tom just wasn't fully clear on how to describe what the extra knobby does... that kinda stuff can be elusive to put into words.

Well, it's all kind of relative. in theory there are 3 variable gain stages controlled by the knobs, but mostly they effect the oscillaitons.

DOes the X design have to do with the Wolverine movie coming out soon?

haahaha, nope. I actually put this together for myself back in december. X is the coolest letter, after all.
