I like Murchie's,
http://www.murchies.com/store/. Pretty sure the only stores are in BC though. Good old fashioned grandma style tea place, I much prefer it to the 'hipper' places like Teavana or David's.

Thanks for the tip, it all looks like good stuff. Gonna have to order some and get back to you on how it tastes.

Monkey-picked Oolong as my everyday loose leaf tea and Chamomile when I need to decompress.

I guesssssss? Meh, I probably sound like an uninformed git, but thats how I feel. On some level I want to care, but politics themselves are just annoying and depressing, and I'd rather not be annoyed or depressed. Ignorance is bliss I guess?

I'm happy to have read this thread and discovered Murchie's. I love just about any type of tea as long as it's not orange or fruity... bleh. Picked up a box of Tazo english breakfast that has been rocketing me through the morning recently.

Usually I go to a local place called By The Pound that has all sorts of loose leaf stuff.

Green / Gunpowder green tea

I'm all about Bushell's blue label. Loose leaf not bags, make it strong and bitter. That's my go to steep, if I'm feeling real fancy (rare) I have some spicy Kenyan stuff that's pretty great.

I'll drink Irish or English breakfast tea anytime. Teabags are oddly better for me than loose for those.
Definitely prefer black tea over green in general. Occasionally a green is nice, but it lacks the caffeine and strength that my coffee-favoring palate prefers.

This x1000. I love my Chai n stuff, but sometimes I need the boost. Especially in the morning.
