Oh yeah. I mean I live in Toronto, you can get comparable poutine here but it's not "authentic" y'know? I ordered one thinking it was sausage on it, turns out it was cut up hot dogs

missed this thread yesterday. So many great things going on in montreal right now.
yesterday you should have checked out
FirstFridayFoodTrucks and last night had a fantastic show at La Vitrola,
Technical Kidman. these pedal punches kill it!
Tonight I'd recommend going to see
Esmerine and then catch free shows at the jazz fest. End the night at the Playhouse

I was thinking of going to Technical Kidman but none of my frienda wanted to go haha. Im leaving tomorrow afternoon. I got tix for BadBadNotGood so im going to that but I might go to ShoeGayz after.
I got more poutine today at blackstrap bbq. It had chunks of smoked brisket mixed in. Mmmmm.

Moshing. Crowd surfing. Stage diving. Mmmmph. I enjoyed their set very much. Good mix of originals and their crowd favorite hip hop covers.
Biked around a bunch today. Went to St Ambroise's brewery and had a nice pint. Made pizza bagels with fresh bagels from some shop in Mile End (where im staying). Now im just chillim on a balcony soaking up the breeze.I quite like this city based on my first impression. I shall have to return soon. Cant wait to get dim sum for brunch tomorrow.

Blackstrap is FUCKING the best bbq in all of montreal.
that burnt ends poutine is ridiculous, everyone loves it.
it's just down the street from my place too.
