These guys are not quite at our level of sonic insanity. they're coming around though. ACC 370 would be rad I can't remember the last time I saw one for sale though.
Dudes been coming around. He started out with a five string Poo bass with active pickups, now he's using a Fender J bass, getting a new cab thinking about new amp and he just got introduced to my pedal board. Once you start chasing good tone, there is no turning back. Luckily for him he's a diesel mechanic and I guess that pays pretty good.

Could use a check up, and the cord could use changing. (There's a industrial style cord spliced into it about a foot from the end. It's loud and everything works on it. It's only missing one slider knob. It breaks up the louder you push it. I'd actually go down to like $420 shipped.
FRIDGE!!!!!!!

Oh yeah...

I did see that and passed it on. Meant on the local CL. I might bring an extra head over there the next time we jam, let him play through it and experience that sound. Worked with getting him set on upgrading the cab

Saw a Carvin B500 used in GC today. Like the eq controls on it, considering buying it.

pushing the ACC on him. I'll check into those carvins as well. I know carvin stuff tends to go way cheaper than what it should for what they can do. Thats the sort of thing I was hoping to hear about when making this thread.

Has been passed on. If it's still there tomorrow evening, grab it. he was talking about wanting 2 ohms as an option. those all share the same pre right? Should sound as good as the bigger brother.

Yeah, the B500 & B1500 share the same user manual and design! It's in really nice shape too, was probably in a rack during it's previously-used life. I was going to take the Black Forest & Meathead Dark clone in there Saturday and try it out.

I knew this was a good idea. We have practice today and I'll bring that up as an option as well. Talked with the guy last night and he may be leaning towards the save and get epic amp route. Which would be fine with me! Some killer options have been brought up. I might have to get something for myself
