Escape From Tomorrow was good. It messed with me because we went to Disney like 4 times when I was a kid, so I remember it well, and the movie brought back a lot of nostalgia, and then fucked with it really bad.

My Ghibli vote is always for Nausicaa and Laputa.
My Tarantino vote is always with Resevour Dogs.
Pi is insanely good.
Mad Max (the original, not the second one Americans think is the first).
Romper Stomper (Russell Crowe, not being shit).
Bad Boy Bubby.
Wolf Creek.
Chopper (Eric Bana at his fucking finest).
Road Games.
And a bunch of Australian cinema from the 70s and early 90s.
From NZ, you have to see Once Were Warriors. It is fucking compulsory.
Evil Dead is like me favorite film of all time.
Bruce Campbell is god.
You see Wake in Fright? Same director as First Blood. Apeshit 70s Aussie flick.

Anything by Stanley Kubrick.
The princess bride does rule!
Nosforatu is my favorite silent, and foreign movie.
And Cannibal: the musical is the funniest movie ever made.
Oh and anything Bill Murray has been in.

Fuuny, I've seen a lot of weird shit, yet I've never seen the majority of the famous movies that get mentioned here. Literally, the only things I know about Never Ending Story is what I've seen in Robot Chicken specials.......

Delicatessen and The City of Lost Children are two of my favourites. Just ridiculously beautiful French film.
Also have a thing for weird Japanese films, Shiki-Jitsu is one of my favourites, Hausu too. A really great one about Noise music that I saw recently is Eli Eli Lema Sabachthani [2005].
And if we're talking anime film my favourites would probably be Angel's Egg, Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, and the Garden of Sinners films.
I love these threads, always end up with so much cool shit to check out.
