Yeah, so the story has a happy ending. After I explained about the battery, he got it to work and I got positive feedback, so it was just miscommunication. But, if there is a lesson in all of this, hopefully we've all learned that ebay's stock descriptions can be misleading to novice pedal shoppers and we should all avoid them.

That's why eBay should make people take a short quiz on the item before they're allowed to bid on it.

Hey man, never ever ship without tracking on ebay. You are just asking to get rolled. Pay the extra 1.25 or whatever for tracking if you are doing econ shipping
