I've had the same issue with another online retailer (leaving names aside) but it was exactly the same circumstance.

All "Electronic Shipping Info Received" means, is they've created a shipping label to slap on the box and ship it. It doesn't mean that the item has actually shipped or that's it's even in stock.
My guess was that they created the shipping info so you'd get a notification but most likely they were waiting on a shipment to come in or something else.

I was waiting 3 weeks after I got the same notification and finally the seller told me he will send out a "replacement" since the first one got "lost" in the mail. He said he was able to print out the SAME tracking number and mailed out a replacement.... I nailed him right there. You cannot use the same tracking number, the system won't allow it.

All it means is he was out of stock on the pedal, made up some bullshit that it probably got lost but was really waiting for it to come in stock. Several online places have pulled this shit and it's not cool.

I actually should post the phone conversation I recorded with this particular place.... you'd love it.

I have to find it first, it's from 3 years ago. It's buried on a hard drive somewhere.

There's a 35+ page thread started in 2012 over at TGP about Rogue with both positive and negative reviews. One of the big complaints is lack of updated inventory. Seems like ppl order, pay, then get stuck waiting for the item to be stocked all while receiving that same tracking update posted by univalve. Jonathan (Rogue owner?) chimes in to explain various situations so I guess that's sorta comforting. I'd still be wary tho...
