Well, for one thing, I think Devi was underpricing her pedals. I know it was part of the whole Devi thing, but she could've charged a little bit more for 'em and I don't think anyone would've really complained.

To be fair though, I wouldn't pay more than what Devi charged for her pedals. Most of them contained not more than a handful of parts, the schematics for plenty of them were just variations on a theme, they were built haphazardly, and they weren't necessarily user friendly - in that the control set was always so limited.

But I think they were rad for what they were and they were a great fuck you to the boutique thing, and they were getting more wacky fuzz into people's hands, which is always a good thing.

As for Devicraft, I like the fact that they are thinning the herd a bit, bringing building up to Dwarf standards, rationalising things a bit... I'm prepared to pay a bit more for that, but it should still be an order of magnitude less than the Dwarf stuff.

I couldn't agree more. I had a truly beautiful disaster that was so unusable that I unloaded it quicker than a dirty Thai whore. Backwards knob controls, reversed effects loop input/output.... Incredibly frustrating.

I like everything Aen's doing from design to his videos.

I agree with you guys, but for people who like Devi's work, I think they'd've been willing to pay a tiny bit more for it with no complaints.
