i was 14 on acid when i saw this
recorded it vhs in the middle of a star trek episode
i ended up recording bits of tv onto that tape
anything i thought was nonsense or hilarious
all intertwined with star trek
my folks trashed those tapes when they sent me away
whoa, where are we now
oh yea this was crazy on regular tv back then
never heard about these guys again
not that i looked for them

I wanted to find the clip of them playing Satan Said Dance on Late Night because I remember watching that when it aired and thinking it was super cool. Also, Letterman makes me genuinely uncomfortable

Manchester Orchestra recently on Letterman. New album has some damn heavy moments. And the guitar player uses a Janus all over it. Even though I really only hear it like twice. But you can see him mess with it in this video.

I saw that the night it aired as well on vacation in northern New Hampshire in the summer. I remember the song stuck with me for years.
