Ugh, that stupid fucking riot. I was at the game that caused that, and it was NOT hockey fans who were responsible. It was a bunch of hooligans who went to downtown Vancouver with the express intent of causing a riot, win or lose. Hockey fans don't go to games with molotov cocktails and crowbars with them, assholes do. I got briefly caught up in the riot on my walk between the rink and the skytrain (Vancouver's above-ground subway), and I just wanted to get the hell away from it as soon as possible. I still haven't been to a Canucks game since then, not sure that I will anytime soon either. That experience sucked.

Also I love her face as that fridge opens.
I wish we had one of those here during the 2010 olympics, although I realize that could get expensive fast.

If it makes it any better I grew up in White Rock and I at least live in South Surrey. But fuck Surrey as a whole, anything further north than 40th avenue sucks big time.

I live in north van though...
I've only ever been to surrey like a handful of times, but white rock is nice. Some swanky houses and that nice beach.
I heard alot of rumours that most of the people that started the riot came in from the suburbs.
