I saw Ghost when they toured with Opeth and Mastodon. Holy shit was that one of the most boring sets I have ever experienced. There are snipets of the first album that I enjoy but overal the hype for this band makes aboslutely no sense.
I saw that tour too, and I think the bolded can apply to every band on the bill.

I enjoyed Mastodon's set. Opeth wasn't bad, but not something I give a shit to listen to in the comforts of my own home. The tickets were free so I can't complain. Except for Ghost, I can complain about them because they are a snooze fest.

Listened to the first half of album 1 just now. If I hadn't fallen asleep I might have finished it :lol:

On a serious note, the band seems about 30 years too late.
