The most recent one that was good was shattered dimensions. It wasn't anything great but I enjoyed it. Maximum Carnage was a gnarly hard game

It was cool for it's time, the whole open world thing. Even then though it felt boring and left me generally unfulfilled.
Maximum Carnage was probably the first game I ever had a gamer rage freak out over.
