The best is a Champion, but they cost too but the things will last over 20 years

We have a juicer.
We made Blood Orange Juice one time. It was awesome. Blood Oranges are very cool.
I suck at juicing and contribute little to this thread except to say that we haven't been juicing because we haven't had a dishwasher and cleaning the juicer by hand was a real pain in the ass.

Can you juice meat? The line between fruits and vegetables is too blurry for me, so I avoid them altogether. I like meat.

Yeah! Exactly. Do I need a specific juicer for that or will any of them work? Do you think they can also do chicken?
So many questions.

That I think you will have to discover all on your own...

Today was
2 apples
2 stalks of celery
1 peeled Lime
some ginger
1/3 of a cucumber
Kind of odd tasting, seems healthy.

If you're struggling with your juicing, there is a better way. I recommend the
Juice Loosener. It's whisper quiet.
props to anyone who's 'with it' before clicking the link

carrot ginger beet
we have 3 different types of machines…huge fans of the vitamin these days…you can throw any veggies into it and experiment it and not have the 4 tons of kale = 1tsp of juice problem…if anything, you can risk making things that taste too healthy and not have enough "fun smoothy" to them...

When using beet do you do raw or cooked? Love me some beets but haven't thrown any in the juicer.
I just cut into hunks and juice it raw. It will work with any kind of juicer:
There's three types of Juices, and really I know this because of my wife…
Centrifuge Juicer: usually about $100 or cheaper. Can do big solid things easily like carrots, beets, apples.Kind of a bitch to clean.
If you have one of these, just make sure you cut it into smaller pieces so it doesn't slow down the motor too much.
Omega Juicer: just kind of mashes things, so you can put anything into it: carrots, apples, wheat grass, sprouts, etc…soft things that would gum up the centrifuge one. I'd say this is one of the nicest juicers, and also the biggest pain to clean. Beets are fine here, as you have to cut them to get them into the small opening.
VitaMix: makes smoothies, leaves all the pulp and fiber in…you can literally put anything into it…it's ridicule and easy to clean. Beets pose no problems…seriously this thing will fuck any kind of produce up and turn it into a frothy smoothy in a second...

delta i'm glad you started this thread. i got a fancy new blender for christmas & am gonna try to get into this. i love tasty juices long as they aren't too think & are pulp free... currently been digging a sweet potato, grape, apple, carrot, banana, strawberry & red beet juice. making something like that of my own would be badass.
man now that i've read the whole thread maybe i shouldn't be messing w/ this using a blender but juicer shopping instead...
