Try the power tubes. That may help a little bit. It'll break up sooner. Just remember the ohms thing and stuff.

Pulling tubes will only drop it a few dB, hardly noticeable IMO. Get a quality attenuator.

All in good fun boys. I'd love to dime it and call it a day but in a live band situation it won't work. I use an Emperor 2x12 1x15. 12s are swamp thangs 15 is a big ben.

those emis with built in attenuators? don't ask me if they work but a 2x12 cab with those miiiiight work?

Would probably be easier to just get a normal attenuator. Unless you plan on having it set at the same volume level all the time it'd be a bitch to have to adjust when needed.

You could do that but if you like closed back cabs you'd then be compromising your sound further for a problem that he could avoid by getting an amp that is more suitable to his volume needs. Just seems like a whole lot of corner cutting for no reason when he could sell the OR120 and purchase something that suits his needs and doesn't need to buy wacky speakers for.
