i get the joke...but really what is lawyer blues? there's nothing wrong with a I-IV-V. and say take a harmonic minor scale but drop it a whole tone below a minor mixes the blues scale with the Phrygian for some tasty toneage. is it just the wank wank wank wank wank wank diddle diddle do?

No, they're not. Unless you're a priest. Then it's not only the footwear that's not OK

- no bare feet, socks are more acceptable yet not perfect, wearing shoes makes demos a lot more watchable
- no aiming the camera to the male/female parts zone
- no stupid pjs
- no talking for 5 minutes before actually playing (the less the talking, the better the demo)
- no freaking distorted sound from a tiny webcam or, even the cheapest smartphone can make a decent demo if smartly used
- no freaking hearing more the strings than the sound coming out of the amp
- a consistant setup is a plus for comparison's sake
- blues only serves the purpose if you're trying to sell overpriced shit to people that have a bit too much disposable income at hand, so if you're cool, don't play blues

As far as demos goes, I like PGS's because their setup and demo guy are pretty consistant. I like excane's because I like to see the actual pedal, see when and how the knobs are moved. Pumpkin-pieces's are nice also. Nick from Sonicstate is pretty good when it comes down to synth stuff.

Yep. The same tired old fucken 'licks' that were already boring before SRV stole them from whoever he stole them from. Don't get me wrong, I love a good bit of blues, it's just all those guys who do all the wanking without playing a damn song.

I want: no talking or explaining or cool drinks. I just want whatever sounds you think it makes that you find poignant .

This. I like Kayzer's demos the best because he just plays his own style with a few different settings he likes most. I'd rather be shown how a pedal inspires someone than what every knob does or how it works. That's what a manual is for.

Hey old guys, how did we ever play guitar in the 80's and 90's without demos???
