I'm so glad that Y: The Last Man idea is dead or stalled right now. I wouldn't be able to get behind that dude as the lead.

Honestly, i think that story would make a much better tv show than a movie. You lose too much great storytelling when everything is condensed in a 2 hour (or more) movie. Aside from the horrible acting, look at what the super-condensed story did to The Last Airbender. They sucked every drop of life out of that wonderful cartoon.

The Avatar movie was a huge disappointment, that was a fantastic cartoon and he ruined the shit out of it.

fuck yeah. that's how i felt about World War Z. make a series of it on a gritty as channel like HBO or Showtime. wayyyyyyy better idea.

I personally don't have a problem with him, but I assume that other people will, because... y'know... people + internet + subject = controversy.

I kinda WANT Reynolds to be deadpool. he's a big fan and has been trying to get the movie made for years. but i'm sure the reaction to Green Lantern hurt his ability to have any pull with studios. he seems really into it though.

I think it would be awesome if Terry Gilliam made an R rated version of The Maxx. The series they aired on MTV was pretty damn good. However, it would be even better if Terry Gilliam processed it through his mind.
