I don't know-- I was driving from Maine to VT ( cue the intro to Rush's Working Man) at like 4 AM on Saturday and was in between changing cds when I heard the host being all "We'll be back after this break to talk about False Flags and things... and remember, when it comes to Black Friday, let's not look at where they want to you look, let's look where you want to look."

And then I put on some Fu Manchu.

I mean, full disclosure: I really enjoy conspiracy theories as speculative fiction and idea launching pads, but I think it's astounding that people take them seriously.

I would absolutely 1,000,000,000,000% rather listen to Art Bell than Rush or Howie Carr or 98% of NPR, though.

I'm a huge talk radio fan. I've been listening to C2C since about 1995, back when Art was the only host. I listened through Dreamland, the Quickening, Y2k, etc., as well as all of Art's retirements.

Art is the best host of all the hosts. I would rather listen to Art Bell repeats from the 90s than George Noory. George Noory has ruined the show with too many commercials and every guest selling a book. He tries so hard to be non-controversial and mainstream that the show has become as exciting as a piece of bread. Ian Punnett was the worst. It was like it was Coast to Coast religion when he hosted. John B. Wells is the current best of the guest hosts. Unfortunately, no amount of maritime jargon can make up for the fact that he doesn't seem to have a skeptical bone in his body.

Art's new show was great. Too bad XM sucks so bad. I was one of the people who listened to bootleg copies, instead of committing myself to paying a monthly fee for XM's terrible sound quality and reception. I guess I'm partly at fault for the quick departure.

if youre wondering why people still talk about it, there were plenty of credible witnesses to area 51 projects on in the 90s all ex military guys. there was an 82 year old guy on who waited that long to spill his guts and he was great
when all tehse guys have similiar descriptions of these craft it gets interesting. in particular how there are no seams no wires.... no controls.... in terms of steering, buttons, anything

they covered lots of itneresting ground paranormal stuff in general
exorcism stuff made me a believer a little

He said on Facebook/Twitter that he wanted to stream the episodes free on his website and they couldn't figure out a way to make it happen.

a quote that i love from terence mckennas appearance on c2c am in 98

"TV is the great unexamined and unstudied drug that has been foisted on the consumer populations of the world. Television has been studied; it has a physiological profile no different from any other drug. Your blood pools in your rear end, your eyes glaze over, your brainwaves go flat, and you become the perfect pawn for somebody else's trip. It doesn't even give you your own trip. It gives you somebody else's trip, usually somebody with commercial interests. But we don't hear a great hue and cry about this drug. Why? Well, because it serves the agenda of those who are running this culture."
