Did I ever tell you guys how this forum came to be? *pulls out a campfire and some chairs* Remember back in 2008 when there was that terrible proposition 8 garbage going on in California? And then people found out that Danelectro had donated several grand in support of it? So Devi started Pedals For Peace to raise money for the Human Rights Council to fight against prop 8. I emailed her in support and to be part of the fundraiser and she offered me a forum here and I've enjoyed every day here since, love this place!

Huh! Nice to hear it was a good cause that started this whole thing. Maybe that helps explain the endless good mojo in this place!

I'm trying to recall the original builder forums before the adding and subtracting. Malekko and Devi...

I've been here awhile. That's when it all went crazy.

I think when I joined in March 2009 there were forums for Devi, Malekko, Dwarfcraft, Fuzzhugger.. maybe CoPilot too?

Looking at the member join dates, looks like Mellowtone was here early. I also remember OhNoHo and MidFi from early on.
