Other than that I'm pretty indifferent. I know I've been misstyping on the keyboard because I think they spaced the letters a bit differently, or I could be making that up
DUDE I cant type anything with out all sorts of misspellings im pretty pissed about it. Otherwise its OK.

If your device is running slowly...
You're either running an iPhone 4 or are just experiencing some glitching and a software restore may be in order for ya.
On my 4S there was pretty minimal sluggishness save for when going from an App to the Home Screen, that was just the fade out animation taking place. Otherwise I thought it ran quite well. Better than iOS 5 on my 3GS and certain better than iOS 6 runs on the 3GS.
I thought iOS 6 ran slowly on the iPhone 4 and didn't expect the iPhone 4 to be able run iOS 7. It does -- but it's definitely sluggish.
On the iPhone 5S shit is running very smooth. That being said -- when I got my 5S I just set it up as new and signed in to my iCloud account. I don't play many games on my iPhone (because I don't know of any that are any good -- I just played Final Fantasy on my iPad). Generally whenever there is a big software refresh I'll start new -- it allows me to experience the software and know exactly how it runs on my device.
In so far as battery life -- I do not have Apps set to automatically update. That's probably minimal as far as time suckage but I want control over it. I don't have Facebook on my iPhone. It saved so much battery after I took it off -- it's unreal. I have notifications turned off for every social networking App. I don't give a shit if somebody responded to an Instagram post. I'll see it eventually.
Shrug. I'm weird with my phone, I guess.
If your battery drains in faster than 4 or 5 hours there is the possibility that something is running continuouslyI, be it a runaway app or something erroneously triggering the OS to think it is doing so. If you live near an Apple Store you can make an appointment, go in and have them test it.
I'll be here all week, folks.

I like it on my 5, it runs actually a bit quicker IMO then ios6 did but on my wifes and my mom's 4's (not 4S's) it has been buggy and just a pain in the ass. It's sluggish and they have had major issues with typing on it as well as buginess with some app's.
Suggestion though, if the colors are too bright on your phone as far as the menu's and what not then change to a darker background picture. The menu's auto change colors to match your back ground which i think is cool. I also love that the flashlight is built in and accessible from the lock screen as well as a whoel rack ton of other on/off options. I also noticed that anytime any music is playing through just about any app you can control it from the control screen on the lock screen which is super handy as I listen to alot of stuff on youtube and before had to unlock the phone enter the app and turn it off IF it would even keep playing after going to lock screen.

oh yeah. runs hellza slow on my drummer's 4. animation stuff gets in the way some times on my 5, but i don't really notice a difference speed wise.
i'm getting used to the differences that annoyed me and figuring out workarounds, so i actually mostly like it now. there are some good improvements, but fucking APPLE. just like. let things be customizable. still annoyed that they raped the landscape view in the Music Player, and every player i've tried has had some goofy peculiar thing it focused on.
any recommendations on a Not Builtin music player app?

i have a 5s and just got an ipad air & the only thing that sucks about 7 IMO is the calendar.
my dad wines about battery drainage on his 5s but i don't have that problem at all. i've told him it's probably because he uses his a ton and should be making it sleep when he isn't.
also DM1 works fine w/ 7.0.4.

I dislike iOS7 a lot on my 4s. It's stupidly slow and awkward. I recently got an iPad mini retina for music and have to admit it runs pretty good on it.

i'm surprised you guys are hatin'. knock on wood but thus far the calendar is literally the only nuisance i've run into in comparison to my old one, which was a v1 from when they first came out.
the keyboard stand i just picked up for it though, kinda blows... apple needs to put out a new version of their old one.

Not hating. Î find amazing that my 2008 MacBook is running Mavericks super smoothly. I regret my 2012 or 2013 4S can't run iOS 7 as smoothly as my 2008 MacBook runs the latest software. I even use the damn thing live running Mainstage 3.
As I stated, iOS 7 is great on my iPad mini retina. It's ugly as hell though.

Yeah I'm totally digging Mavericks. I know they straightened a lot of things out under the hood in terms of streamlining things to save battery life and I've definitely noticed
