i'm not the biggest fan of dave grohl's music, or trent reznor or josh homme really, but it didn't affect my enjoyment of the movie. all the shit about the studio is pretty interesting, and the commentary from so many people on the changes in recording technology and culture are really poignant.

I do if you're talking Foo Fighters but his contributions to Nirvana, Queens, and Them Crooked Vultures can't be fucked with. Basically, I prefer Dave on the drums.

I prefer when Dave Grohl plays acoustic rather than electric... but hey I can't blame him for wanting to play electric.

I prefer dave grohl when he shuts the fuck up and lends his energy and stage presence to bands that don't suck
