Dopesmoker made my subwoofer in my car over heat and shut down. only a few minutes in too.

Ah TJ, that is brutal. But awesome.
I had this thought the other day, when Summit was sick, and it was getting all emo in the doom room, and we were gonna have International Doom-aid for Ryan day:
it would be awesome to line up a time when we could all pick a version of the record, put it on simultaneously and confer for like a mass listening.
One of my life goals is to coordinate a worldwide playing of dopesmoker, so that nobody on the planet can escape the riff. It may then just reverberate into space and attract aliens. Like proper intelligent life forms.
Maybe we don't need SETI anymore....

also if anyone is a techy programmer...you should create a computer virus...the virus does one thing...at the right time, all the infected computers in the world go to a link on youtube and play Dopesmoker

When you listen to jams over 22 minutes, you gotta do CD or you're compromising sound quality.
That I can totally hear, because I haven't been playing very loudly for years. I swear.
