Who cares if some one wants to vent a little? Why would you waste your time scolding people for writing a couple sentences on something they felt like talking about. Bashing people for bashing tgp is so old. Plus why bump a thread topic you hate?

This was something that always bothered me about a lot of TBers. The glorification of lying or keeping secrets about gear purchases from your significant other.
Yeah,...let's makes sure that; for the kid's sake, we keep the potty mouths in check and make sure it's all PG/PG-13 and shit; but set an example that lying to get what you want is perfectly acceptable.

I used to be really bad about telling my now wife about gear, but A) I haven't been buying much anymore B) I've been telling her when I buy shit. She doesn't understand why gear costs so much, and on some things I tend to have to agree with her...

eh, i just thought that the specific post i quoted was a concentrated example of everything ridiculous about tgp. the only reason i posted it was because i thought/knew you dudes would find it funny.
tgp has chapped the asses of more than one pedal company in recent years. im not worried about them, and they arent even a little bit of a percentage of our sales. i get what youre coming from though.
as far as the Klon, it doesnt belong to me, it belongs to a friend of mine who owns a music store. im selling it for him because it would most likely sit on the shelf for a few years (his client base is largely jazz players and he barely sells any pedals).

Also id like to chime in and say im really getting tired of some people using the general of ILF as a running commentary on other boards. Did you just come over from HCFX/TB/DFFD/HM/TGP/GS/BAM/DEF/WHATEVER? Thats great. Welcome. But do us a favor and actually join the community. We get that were better, but most of us are also getting annoyed by there being a commentary on another board up on general like every single day. Why not i dunno....actually talk about shit with us? We have threads about alot of things and you can totally necro. OH I KNOW DO YOU LIKE ANIME? Theres a thread for that. Go and find it and lets talk about that shit.

Also, my GF is totally addicted to effects pedals thanks to me, and doesn't mind eating ramen noodles so we can dick around with some new high priced piece of boooteeek electric art.
And bhendy is a little bit jealous of me because of that... so poop. But then I think his Nipponese wife is like anime hot, so yeah, like... whatever...

Also, TGP is a GREAT place to buy and sell used gear... and talk about how awesome it is to be a Christian musician (which I'm super not).... aside from that....
