Just tell him to keep his left hand in his pocket; don't fuck around with that thing with both hands at once.
Also, did he just hook some pots up to a tube with a resistor and one cap on it?

Power tube distortion is better than pre amp tube distortion everyone knows that.
Wonder if you should tell him he can get tag boards with pre mounted tube sockets.
Won’t stop him from electrocuting himself or his first customer though.

Well, at least he didn't solder directly onto the pins? Bet you that he just throws that tube in a box without mounting it onto anything.

in all seriousness, if this dude doesn't know the difference between preamp and power amp tubes I HIGHLY doubt he has the knowledge to actually wire a power transformer to create voltages high enough to hurt him. enjoy the lulz.
