it's entirely dependent on where you are. in the Bay Area they're utterly immune to haggling; they're a lot more amenable in the Chicago area.

I was talking with an employee who said they will give you 10% off if it's been there 30 days.

It also helps if you're in that particular store often. I used to go in every other week when I first started playing and most of the guys knew me. The turn over rate is high though so there are a lot of new guys at the GC I used to frequent. Whenever they pull up my account and see all the stuff I've bought and that I'm 17, I think they go the extra mile, gotta keep people coming back.
