Don plays one of the guitar ones. Chad also has a Meatsmoke and 4x15.

I use one (a loucks), I'm the guitarist in the left ear. listen with headphones and take your right ear out.... we pan pretty hard left and right. hahaha
Songs 3 and 8, while "ambient" or "instrumental" as the kids say, are entirely my amp (track 3 through a leslie). Blues playing on track 3 is my dad. Still through my amp.

Dude in gray ghost uses one too(a loucks):

And so does the dude in Ladder Devils (has the 50 watt guy):
http://ladderdevils.bandcamp.com/album/forget-english That whole intro on Get OK is the Verellen dude

And the bassist from Narrows has a meat smoke:

And I don;t know if it's been posted but you know.... Ben's band
http://helmsalee.bandcamp.com/album/weatherhead
I have no idea what he uses on the record, since you know....... he makes them and all.
His main dirt is a big spider prototype.

Whole album has the Loucks on guitars. Southern Lord was interested in them but they broke up. :grumpy:

Oak and Bone were so fucking good.

Agreed wholeheartedly. I've jammed with the guitarist a couple times but nothing's gotten off the ground.

I like them a lot as well. Unfortunately i think they are one of those bands that released this one thing (and maybe another 7"?) then everyone moved away from each other. They've mentioned that if the stars align they aren;t done, but there is nothing planned for any other releases.

I forgot he had the loucks. I saw them play once and they were so awesome. I was bummed they broke up a few months later and i didn;t get a chance to see them again.

I still have yet to hear a clip of a Verellen I love. I really want to try the preamp pedals, but they're so expensive and would cost a fortune to ship and import over here. Anyone got any clips they know of?

Not really other then the 1 or 2 on youtube. I will be making some of the skyhammer preamp but its gonna be a few weeks.

Well, I don't have €700 for a preamp pedal anyway, so it's no worries. I am very interested though, so let me know when you have clips posted.

Definitely will do my friend. I'm going to do it in all the possible combos: Direct recording w/ speaker sim, as a dirt pedal in front of an amp, and as an actual preamp feeding into the preamp in / fx loop return of an amp.

Verellan amps abounded last night at the house show we went to. Helms Alee headlined, they ruled! Argonaught and shore were also killer. Totally dug the ear candy tone that was going on all night.
Here's Takata doing his thing during Argonaughts set.
