that's the thing though. it's really NOT a remake. there's like 3 or 4 main ideas/elements that are lifted from the originals, then they tell a completely new story.

Should I bother going to the movie theater or should I wait until it comes out? That is the real question.

Pelican Not PeliCAN'T.... i dunno. i was talking to my little brother and we were both like "shits COULD have been cool", soooooo.... if wasted potential doesna bother you it's got some interesting stuff and it does move decently. it only feels OH MAH GAWD WHY ARE WE WATCHING THESE HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA CLASS FEEBS TRY TO ACT for the first 10 or 15 minutes. the rest of the 75'ish minutes is decently paced.

iiiiiiiiii'd probably either go with 3 or 4 friends that get giggles out of violent stuff or wait on a rental. or the mysterious DOWWWWWWNLOOOOOOAAAAAD.

not sure if i can bring myself to watch it. i'm sure i will, but the idea of them making a bad movie associated with that name makes me sick to my stomach. that series is really important to who i am as a person.

All of this is pretty much making sure I never watch this.

While I love EHX (it could be down to working on all their old effects rather than the new ones) I am totally gunna have to use the phrase EHXing something up.

I'll agree, they do mess up quite a bit, but just... some of the shit they've made is just sexy.

The first post reminded me of a time in high school when Texas chainsaw massacre was remade and some girl told me it was whack and just a rip off of house of 1000 corpses.

I'm gunna visit this but I expect to be predictable since its a remake.

Saw it last night. Not a huge fan. It was OK, but definitely left something to be desired. I was falling asleep by the end. :/
