NAMM is very expensive to just have a booth and when you factor in additional expenses it becomes pretty cost-prohibitive for most small builders. obviously you need to spend money to make money (i may do it next year...) but there comes a point where it's tough to weigh the benefits against the costs when there are so many unknown variables. some good points to think about in your initial post though.
What about some sort of collaborative effort? Using ILF for example... All of you guys get together and go in on a booth to help reduce costs or something like that. I've never been to NAMM so I may be naive, and do understand at some point you guys are in competition, but everyone's goals should have some similarities. Just a thought.
