i want to stop buying so many clothes.
i want to jam more with people. i had a good thing going for a while this year, but it turned into boring shit.
i want to also play way more noise shows. and get better at playing noise, i want it to be more interesting than me+guitar+knobtwiddlin'. playing noise makes me way more nervous/stagefrightful than conventional 'music' stuff
i want to stay the fuck away from hard drugs. came too close this year, and they're scary.
i want to learn to be a better judge of character and stop getting close to people that will fuck me over. see above.
i want to get an internship.
i want to get a grant to make this big art piece i've been drrrrrreaming of for a while.
i want to do better at managing my fundz.

Not bothering with any resolutions this year. Well beyond the usual that I always attempt no matter what the holiday season is: read more, drink less.

Just the usual stuff this year: read more, exercise more, less tv, buy less stuff,...

Find a big boy job, move out of my parents' place and into a cool city, start a cool band in that cool city and rock out.

All of this is coincidentally the goals that I start tomorrow. Generally I don't like new years resolutions. My other resolution from last year was to not be alone on my computer on new years for three years in a row. I've managed to work that one out.

-Graduate High School, not as much of a resolution or goal, but something big that WILL happen
-Get a job this summer
-Put a band together
-Get better at pedal building
-Cause trouble
-Go more places
-Hang out with friends more

Save up enough money for a Meatsmoke.
Prevent my band mate from bullrushing into recording our next album.
Get my broken pedals fixed. (Thank god there's only a couple, I'm sure my Sleepdrone is gonna be expensive as fuck to get fixed.)

Oh, I'm gonna start drawing more...I feel like it's something I actually have a shot of getting decent at.

Ok, hidden secret resolution achieved!! Which was don't do something extremely stupid on new year's eve. Sounds simple but the last few years I did not manage it.

yeah, the writing thing hits close to home. I haven't written lyrics in years. I've always incorporated fantastical themes in with my music. But more and more, I'm embracing reality. My reality is stranger than many people's fiction. Also, I'm gonna be a better housewife.
