Same here. Funny thing is I'm trying to bring it back down to 5.

I forgot my onespot for practice today so I could only use my muff. It was nice but also reminded me why I need at least two dirt pedals.

Haha, i was curious and i looked at the list (yeah, i have one) of what i bought. Since November 2010 __* pedals caused through ilf... (4 are just commited to builds and not payed yet)... uhhh, have to hide the list somewhere where my wife does not find it

When I first join this place, I was like... euh 7 or 8 pedals is all that I need (low gain drive, high gain drive, low gain fuzz, high gain fuzz, modulation, delay and octave).
I'm not really into any forums... but now posting in this one a lot.
ILF got me hooked.

I have the same amount of pedals and the same amount of debt since I joined ILF, but my gas is much much higher. Sucks donkey nuts too.

Before I started getting involved with forums I had 7 pedals on my board back in 2006, that exploded to 17, and shrank back down to 5 or 6 the last two years (mostly because of synthesizers).

This place is fantastic on every count. But it does make me increasingly unrelatable to other local musicians; both musically and with gear. I look at their boards, ask them about how they're getting along with pedal X or whatever. They look at my gear and

hurm. i've pared the amount of peds i was using down since being more ILF itensive. cats here keep me up on more of Why The FUCK Aren't More Peds Like This shtuff, but y'all ACTUALLY MAKE MUSIC TOO. helped me focus on using stuff not just HAVING stuff.

I actually...have substantially less pedals than before I joined ILF. And oddly enough, rarely was it that I had even one fuzz down. Octavers and tremolos and envelope phasers...OH MY.

I've since learned the way of the fuzz. And looping. Behndy'll tell you otherwise, but I've been digging minimalism lately. It...actually forces me to practice and learn moar about playing than epic fuzztoanz.

HOWEVER, one can never have enough delays. Science has proven it so.

Before ILF the only pedal I still had was the Big Spider. I was always flipping pedals on TB.
Now my life is a lot fuzzier.
