I landed almost exactly where I expected to before I took the test (I expected to be dead center in the quadrant that I'm in).

I've taken these a couple different times before for my political science classes. Decided to take it again today to show you guys.
For some reason it says I'm more libertarian this time, but really I should be closer to the middle on the vertical axis.

IMO, it isn't a terrible test. For people in the US it is a pretty standard way of giving a reference. I've been pounded with how to conduct surveys and tests like this lately, so for the people who say it is a poor test keep in mind it is either this or a
much longer test that the regular person isn't going to feel like finishing or they would have to include a wider range of response.
This one does a fair job of not being too complicated or simplistic. You haven't seen some of the bad ones I've had to look at.

Exactly where i was 12 years ago when I took a similar test.
to the biased remarks, it has to factor in as many cases and ideas as possible. Yes NOT ALL conservatives are racists but some ARE that's why that'll move you on the social scale. You could be Left and still be racist and end up in the RED Corner or Racist and fiscally minded and end up in the BLue Corner. or you could be really fiscally conservative but not really give a shit about racism and you'll end up in the purple corner... The problem you've had is you assumed that racism related to LEFT vs. RIGHT.

race and subspecies are not synonymous. Race is not even a recognised biological term, while subspecies is quite well defined. There aren't any subspecies of humans on the planet, and our genetic diversity is so low that differences between a white guy from Norway and an Australian aboriginal are actually pretty negligible.

lulz. I really thought I'd be more in the top left than how I ended up.

It'd be cool to do a longer, more comprehensive one where you're allowed to answer some questions with "don't care" or "fuck off" or whatever. There were several times I didn't feel comfortable with any of the answers but had to pick [i]something[i/].

lol, way to be the only ILFer more economically conservative than me (and Haki apparently). And the only ILFer who is actually on the economically conservative side of the spectrum.
But mine is about where I identify without a Likert-like text: Socially rather liberal, fiscally, just a scosch to the left. Of course the scale isn't perfect and some of the questions are a bit more "extreme" but that's just a way of measuring the full spectrum of ideas.
I wish I had the results of previous times I've take this throughout the years. I'm sure I haven't strayed too much at all, maybe a little more towards libertarian and just a tad closer to the right (but still on the lower-left quandrant as usual)

Wait, if I'm Liberal and a Libertarian... DOES THAT MAKE ME A LIBRARIAN?!?!?!
Good, I like librarians.

Also, whenever I see the term "natural" in a political questionnaire, I want to punch someone in the nose.

I'm an odd mash of Ayn Rand, Chistopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, Jiddu Krishnamurti, and a few others. I've only ever met 2 people that I have felt some modicum of identification with.

No, (EDIT: This comment was for jrmy) it makes you a Democrat. Or according to their historical comparison chart a completely unheard of extremist. Lol, that comparison chart is suuuuper skewed to the upper right. According to it, the only difference between Nelson Mandella and myself is that I'm twice as socially liberal.
Now I feel like a total badass.
