If I can't fantasize about Scarlett Johansson, it doesn't interest me.

And I bet Christopher Nolan is your favorite director, too...

actually, I'm not a Christopher Nolan fan at all. It's pretty cliche, but I'm a huge Tarantino fan.

You've only seen one decent film of his that you barely liked and you say he changed the film industry? This confuses me.

As a film minor, he's required to make that statement. I think it's in their contract or something.

Nailed it. You kind of have to respect his impact on the industry, regardless of if you like him or not. It's kinda like my feelings toward Nirvana. I think they were horribly overrated, but I still acknowledge the fucking giant impact they've had on music.

He was definitely the most successful American Auteur from the Golden Age of Hollywood... in that he was pretty much the only one who consistently wrote & directed his own material.
Match Point is 2004? That's like Lost In Translation-era ScarJo.

Can't remember the name...it was like a series of comedic vignettes or something...in one of them he's a sperm about to get sent out. I lol'd vigorously. Plus 1 on not being as good a Mel Brooks though

I watched "Broadway Danny Rose" last night, it was good. Besides for that I've only seen three other of his films: Sleeper, Bananas, and a more recent one I can't remember what it's called though. Yah Woody Allen is pretty awesome, I like his films but, none of them "wow" me, their all good, but not amazing.
