Don't we have a couple dudes around here that works (or use to) at Prymaxe? I may be thinking of another store.

On the international side of things, these guys are awesome. Quite often I'll lust after a pedal, pull the trigger, add it to a cart, count the sad amount of pennies in my account and then realize that a dealer or builder wants $48 to ship a pedal to Australia. I add that up as $15 postage, $20 hassle and $13 just to let you know that I'd really rather not sell you shit unless you pay a premium. When this happens, I go straight to Prymaxe and almost always buy it there. I love buying pedals direct from builders when I can but Prymaxe do $7 shipping, offer great service and seem to get the whole "world wide" concept of the web :)

And all you had to do in return was start this thread.

jwar wrote:Guys I know there's a topic on here somewhere about your favorite online pedal vendors and this one is mine. I have purchased four or five pedals from these guys and they are fucking amazing. Every pedal I've bought has been with a coupon that makes it almost the used price of these things.

Why all the love? Well, other than the amazing selection of products, the customer service.

I'm exactly like you in this aspect. I buy all my pedals that I can't get used through them. I've only had one problem with a tremolo I got from there and they offered to replace it. I said I'd rather just send it back and they told me to just send it back with this form I had to print out and I got all my money back. And you can usually wait a couple weeks and I would say you are almost guaranteed 15% off or something just as good.

They used to have the best videos ever too. I loved Evan and the style of music he played in his demos, especially the reverb demos. Mike Hermans (?) is a great guitarist but it seems like every demo now is a fuzz or distortion with the same bluesy rock loops. I miss Evan!

:hello:
Used to work there. Didn't quite work out.
There was some shadiness in the whole "1099 vs W-2 employment" area and every time I was given a raise, my hours were cut pretty hard.
From what I hear, a lot of that has been sorted out.. So that's good news. I just couldn't deal with those shenanigans.
The employees working there now are awesome people, though. Many of them are friends of mine who I'd personally introduced to the company.

They do have an incredible selection and awesome sales, and that's why I'd buy from them long before I'd pick something up from PGS.

Every pedal I buy comes from there. Not quite sure how they are making money with all the deals.

Cory is just a doll, always hooked me up and made sure my orders get out the same day.

They burst onto the scene and just DOMINATED.
