Nobody really uses the word "kindly" unless they are trying to scam you.

As someone else said this is a red flag that you are dealing with a scammer. It's not only a red flag but IMO proof positive of a lazy blanket scam hoping to net a few suckers, easier to paste this over and over than to take a moment to create a more believable fiction.

Yup. Also any bs about somebody else picking the item up or a shipping service or being willing to pay more for it if you hold it for them. And stories about being stationed overseas or offshore should be red flags.

I love it when I post multiple items up, and get an email about each one, from a different name, but the same generic scammy email about each one. Yeah, that's convincing.

You know what I don't love? All these emails offering tattoo service, but when I say "YES! I would love to trade my Metal Zone for tattoo work", I get no response. That's really crap, because I really do want another tattoo :?:

I actually got a legit e-mail from Guitar center suggesting I come down and trade in the blues Junior I was selling.

I took some pedals down instead and that is when they told me that my Zvex Distortron was broken because it crackled when they turned the one knob.

i shamed a GC employee when some middle school kid who had never owned a pedal before asked how to sound like Hendrix. I couldn't bare to sit by and do nothing as the employee tried to tell the kid to buy a chorus pedal.
