Fiance just gave me some throat spray. It hit my tongue before it hit my throat. Now both are numb

Recovering here, bedbound for a couple days for the first time in my adulthood, really.

Checking out Jack JeJohnette celebrate his 70th birthday with Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke.

I really love those three people.

Otherwise, looking into bikes, preparing a new quartet for this winter, preparing to book tours. Spending waaaaaaaaaaay to much time on ILF.

Illness and my pathetic employment history have never coincided.

I've had to suffer through finals week with a fever one time because you don't get to make up finals at my college.

am sick in bed now, been off work for 6 weeks with another 4 to go

fractured my left elbow 6 weeks ago falling 9 feet from a ladder. and nearly fractured my hip as well.
terrified i wouldnt be able to play guitar again but just played guitar for the first time in 7 weeks and my fingers and arm work :!!!:

Yesterday I went to work while still sick. The amount of stink eyes I got was hilarious. What's even better is I'm working today to make up for Thursday, still sick. More stink eyes :)

My boss expects us to never take more than 1 day off when we're sick. It's ridiculous.
