Well, I would recommend Vegas if only to say you've been here, but it's getting to the part of the year where scrubs from other parts of the country start bitching about the heat.

I've been here 7 years so far and it is killing me. NOTHING IS EVER OPEN. I don't know how places stay in business. When I lived in NY I didn't go out until around 12. If you do that here you'll have to go home almost as soon as you get anywhere. And this city is so set on living in the past. If I ever became super wealthy, I would buy up all the "historic" buildings, and then have them all knocked down in one day at the same time before anyone could stop it. If you find yourself in the bay area, stock up on weed. Especially in Marin, you can trade a dub for a sandwich.
