on-topic ... I always do my damnedest NOT to wear the shirt of the band I'm there to see. It's totally ridiculous and I have no logical justification for it. I guess that's one of my very few hipster moments. I'll almost always wear the shirt of another band. Even if I end up buying one of their shirts at the merch booth, I'll put it on under the shirt I'm already wearing.

I usually can't stand band tees. They are always gawdy and over the top; especially if it's like a metal band's tee and beyond that; my music preference isn't really anybody's business.

That said,...my Red Fang baseball tee is cool and straddles that line between pleasantly designed and over the type,...but I'd never where it to an actual Red Fang show.

The shirt doesn't matter. The important thing is to wear nice underwear.
Step 1: Locate slut.
Step 2: Buy slut drink.
Step 3: ????
Step 4: Profit from the home made porn video.

yeah most band shirts are kinda dumb these days. so im picky when i buy them.

anyways i think the most accurate way to describe someone wearing X shirt to an event specifically for X, outside of sports events is: dorky.

you don't go to McDonalds wearing an "i'm lovin it" shirt unless you're doing it in response to this to be ironic/silly.

Had brought my laundry down to my grandparents house to do while I was visiting. The daughter of some friends of my parents was there, and thought the "variety" of my clothing was so funny that she had to take pictures and put them online. Yeah, I doubt my choices in clothing would change much regardless of who I was seeing.

I kinda just throw on whatever's clever in the morning and then end up at a show wearing some clothes later.

idgi. Where does all the hate for doing this come from? I sometimes do this because most of my tshirts are band shirts and it just happens that I'm wearing that one. Even if I were to do it on purpose, what makes it 'dorky' or a bad thing to do?

It's just another way of covering up my disgusting body, jeez.
