I'd still rather listen to Rollins talk about shit he knows nothing about and drop in another reference to Ian Mackaye than the electronic music Greg Ginn is doing...

There will always be shitty commercial music.
There is a whole vast number of musicians who don't get techno music, but they've never spent hours working with LFOs and delays and modulators to achieve a particular tone to pump something through. Maybe Henry is a typical lead singer, and he doesn't understand how the music is actually made. I do totally agree with his ball-less assessment of modern pop-rock with pro tools and pitch modulation for vocals. He is, after all, a vocal stylist.

yah. i got over the idea that some music i don't like is easy to make pretty young. of course there's examples in any type of music where somebody just fucking SUCKS. so they're..... kinda doing easy stuff i guess. because they're not talented enough to do well in their genre. but every type of music is difficult in some way at some level. super ignorant to assume otherwise.
