less strings you break = less string changes = less money out of pocket = more moneys for pedals = more pedals = less time spent actually playing = less time doing things not involving tweaking with pedals = less sex = more pedals

yeah, we used to restring the uprights we had at school in shifts. We'd trade off so nobody got too tired, and we got it done a lot faster that way.
