yesh. i work at a family run grooming shop, we do pro-bono washing/grooming for rescue dogs a lot so they can find a home, we've seen maggots and rotten sores.... and still the most disgusting thing i've ever had to deal with is anal glands. such a.... meaty and thick odor.

shampoos - i dunno brand names. we order gallons at the shop, and we use the pricier stuff 'cause it's BIDNESS. but tha Earth eco line is reall good. ummmmm..... Plum Silky (SO gonna be my Pimp Name when i start running hoes) is what we use for body shampoo. again, boring and pedantic, but one of the biggest problems with home bathing is that people don't get all the shampoo rinsed off. that leads to the itchiness.

urm. DP99 (love the name) is what we use. it mixes like 4 oz to a gallon. you can get quart sized bottles that are squeezy and have a splooshy (technical term) top. his size and hair would be like a half quart bottle each bath? won't hurt him to use TOO much, would just leave him a little slippery feeling.

harder to catch when you try to grab him. give him an EDGE.
