Me-guit/lap steel
htsamurai- guit
jrmy: bass
drums: whoever could offer up a touch of flash, but mostly lean towards finesse.
I have to say that I wouldn't be opposed to playing with anyone here

I think I could actually put together an upstate/Central NY super Group

Kbit on bass and noise
I get to play guitars and more noise
I would bring thomas up from NEPA to do vocals (I know Thomas hasn't posted here in a while but I have been trying to get him to do vocals forever)
Insubordination on guitars
and I think we are short a drummer but how hard can it be to find someone who makes you carry all the gear and then bangs on crap while you try to tune up???

We can practice in my basement.... and I know I am leaving out a CNY homie and am very sorry

This thread might be fun, but I don't understand how I should select who'd be in said soopergopez.

Maybe understanding saps the fun out of it? IDK?

The real problem about ILF is there's not enough drummers.

this is true. Although, I play. I wouldn't call myself badass by any means. But I'm fairly competent. And I think ht, steevdeadman, Caesar, and maybe a few other dudes on here play. But who among us that plays still has a kit that hasn't been flipped in spam yet? Truth be told, I have access to a really sweet kit. I don't have any mics though. And I've never used drums in a studio,so I'd be n00bish in trying to record...

I just picked Furtkamp because from the way he talks about equipment and music-making i think we have a similar sensibility regarding things like using the guitar as a signal source/effects controller, improvisation, etc. I have no idea what he or most of the folks here sound like, and a big difficulty is that i can't remember who plays what and in what particular style since i haven't met anyone personally.

i play drums but not in a style that most folks here would probably like. the best adjective to describe my drumming is "quiet." i don't hit the kit very hard, and prefer light sticks with natural tips. me playing as loud as i possibly can is equal to a normal drummer playing pianoforte.

I think if me and Warwick.Hoy hooked up and hung out jammin, partyin, cooking and writing for about a week, we could at the very least Open Up for the Supergroop! :p
