word. when i went through my major pedal acquisition phase, i bought a bunch of pedals, then started playing shows and realized i didn't use them that often...![]()
so i kept trading until i got stuff i like, but seriously, playing shows is the best way to gauge whether you need or something or not

That's the whole reason I started using a pt-nano. I still get 90% of the functionality of the big board I was using without the hassle of finding new pedals to fill every possible sonic niche and trying to keep all the patch-cables and power leads from shorting out while playing live.
It is a bit of an ego killer when you find out that you don't need pedal X, Y or Z to do what you do
they just want there 7s and dim9s no fuss no mussMudfuzz wrote:lizardville wrote:I thought this thread was going to be about death...not a frigging pedal....

This was the method I used until I had a kid.
Now, when I try to do that, I'll squirrel away 20 or 30 bucks every week or two, and my wife will say "Hey, we need diapers". Fuck, there goes my 30 bucks. Then I save up another 20 or 30 ... "hey, we need a new baby gate" FUCK! Then I save another 20 or 30 ... "hey, we need another tub of formula" FUCK ....
