I always get her two large gifts. One thing that she needs, and one thing purely for entertainment / enjoyment.

For example, one year I got her a laptop she needed for school, and an evening handbag - or whatever those things are called - from Swarovski.

Haven't decided what I'm getting her this year. I think instead of buying eachother gifts we may just get some new furniture/appliances for our place.
