the most popular thing i see at the local Safeway here in Felton--the nearest town to my "semi-rural" location, 2.5 miles from me and ~6 miles from Santa Cruz--is folks with two or three kinds of alcohol and a couple of pro forma food items. like, maybe a steak and pint of ice cream to go with the 24 cans of beer and fifth of vodka. have a nice weekend!
