PS: I added Blahquaker to my ILFer circle.
If you want an invite and have a gmail account, send me your email ending in @gmail.com and I'll see if I can hooks it. I won't invite anyone unless they ask.
The other thing I have to say is I like the attractive photo layout that G+ has under it's Photo tab. It's slick looking. It will connect to other google products (Blogger) and add photos that you'd uploaded to those sites as well.

well if your asking the question whats so bad about facebook knowing everything about you. I'll tell you. privacy was once a right in america. the constitution and amendments protected every american, citizen or not from illegal, unwarranted, searches of their person, or property. many laws have been passed that slowly chip away at those constitutional rights even though it is unlawful to pass a law contrary to the constitution without a constitutional amendment. it has gotten so bad that the current status of constitution has been relegated to a worthless piece of paper. but wait there's more. facebook was started by the venture capital arm of the CIA. its not a conspiracy theory, its public information right on their website. the CIA has a long history of paying private sector contractors to spy on american citizens no matter if they are doing anything wrong or not. by doing the information gathering themselves through facebook, they cut out the middle man and turn an operating cost into a revenue stream AND a tool for influencing outcome of events as well as public perception of anything they want.
so the real question is if you think it is ok for the CIA to dissolve the constitution and commandeer all your personal private communications and photography.

I'd love to, but I delayed getting a gmail account back in the day, and now it's almost impossible to get a gmail account nowadays that isn't
somename1858746723783995846@gmail.com. Every single combination I could think of that I even have a chance of remembering isn't available anymore.

Wow,...really,...I've only had mine for a few years (since 09 I think) and it's pretty standard. In fact it's the same as my @comcast.net addy which is my main email account just,....@gmail.com instead.

Now that we are onto the 3rd (potentially) mainstream social networking site and the novelty has long since worn off,...getting caught out late isn't really a bother to me anymore. I was late to MS and late to FB, I'm indifferent as to being on G+ in it's beta stages. It's like a new toy that I didn't have to pay for.

Right, but the government already has my major personal info. I'm not really worried that they also know what I had for dinner last Saturday or what music I'm into.
Plus, when I googled that all I found was a
video from The Onion and the Alex Jones site.
: p
ANYWHO, I may get in on the Google+ thing. I was one of the last to leave Myspace. THIS WON'T HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN.

so its ok for people to attack the constitution and nullify it as long as it doesn't affect you directly

but your still doing a victory dance when uncle joe or whoever goes to iraq to protect your freedom? freedom to what? go to Iraq and take a shit on camel? whats more important?
