Yes the clipping ciruits and layout are very slightly different. The second one is an earlier Joyo pedal, the top one is another Joyo layout clumsily hacked-at by Freekish Blues. The Joyo pedal itself is a modified OCD clone.

I just got the tremolo. Found a seller on ebay. Was a few dollars extra but it ships from california rather than china or wherever in asia.

total cost was $45.

The Joyos actually look better, natch.

And lookin @ their line, some appear to be...rips.



On Akai--I don't know, but something makes me a feel a company like Akai is more likely to have licensed from Biyang and/or had Biyang make those pedals for them than straight ripped them the way it appears Freekish have done. Wouldn't necessarily make me feel great if I had bought Akai w/out knowing about Biyang, but it's a different kinda thang.
