This afternoon. Only one beer. Promise.

Tonight there's an 11 pack of Fat Tire + a couple Maple Bocks in the fridge. I make no promises post 6 pm.

I went out fishing this evening with my good friend, typically 98% of the time when we hang out we get ridiculously drunk. Well somehow we spent several hours together without even a single sip of alcohol. But, after I dropped him off I ended up having half a dozen or so beers and smoked a couple of joints. Good times.

It took me several minutes to deciper this, but I did just think that my girlfriend asked me for "sunglasses and a bowling ball," which turned out to be nothing like what she actually said. So it may have just been me that had trouble with this. But I agree with the whole hobbit-orc rape issue, seems terrible.

Quite happily buzzed at the moment, man I fucking love beer.

2 of each fucked me up. That's like slamming more than a 12 pack of regular beer

Tried to put my guitar in an open tuning yesterday (EGDGBD). I didn't manage to and started to worry that it's neck was fucked because it sounded alright when I tuned the strings to each other but what I tried to play on it sounded like crap. Today I pick up the guitar and had already forgotten about last night because of the beer and voilà! It needed some corrections but I made a beautiful EGB#GBB# It's a fucked up tuning but lovely to make ethereal stuff. It is actually playable.

i wish i could still get the drugs i used to really love, the pharmaceuticals that were pretty much eliminated by government regulation in the 1970s. but my system would probably just get sick from them now anyway. so i smoke pot. it's boring, but life without smoking is more boring.

Last night, my wife and I polished off a 4 pack of Ommegang Abbey Ale (me), a 4-pack of Dogfish Head Aprihop (her), and a 23.5 oz'er of Dogfish Head Red & White (shared).

Then I finished the night off by making myself an Old-Fashioned.

As for drugs, I loved every drug I ever tried. But I haven't had the chance to try any in several years. I literally don't know anyone who knows anyone who deals within driving distance.

Yeah, we both agreed that the Red & White is better than ever this year. I've tried at least the last 4. I haven't gotten into the Black & Blue so much in the past. Maybe I'll try it again this year.

At first I was all like 'head spinny, why did I have that extra spliff before bed' then after an hour or so... got me some awesome sleep... weird dreams though.

you're a musician and you don't know anybody with drugs? how can this be possible?

also, regarding driving distance: if mail and parcel delivery were too insecure for me, after several years i think my definition of driving distance would probably get more flexible.
