yeah that happens here too. they actually threaten us here. if you dont buy a new car the terrorists win. the fed drops the interest rate, the president tells us that if we dont spend money then we are not patriotic. the car manufacturers had flags flying and special edition trucks called the patriot edition ford truck or the hummer patriot (owned by chevy). so we had corporations, TV, presidents, and banks pushing the great fear and selling products to increase the power of the dollar in a purely temporary emotional overestimated unsustainable way.
