don't play with me  yeah, i'll keep that in mind ;)

ILF is great because before ILF i mainly knew about some boutique builders... but the whole boutique thing was shrouded in a cloud of diamonds (i'm speaking about ToneCzar for example)... yeah, i knew about Devi, that's all - you see boutique stuff is fairly unknown here

when i joined ILF, i discovered some awesome builders making great pedals for very reasonable prices :) the weird thing is i don't have anything by them :D (i'm talking about Mellowtone for example), however it kinda opened my eyes

How about a tube with diamonds on the bottom?

I'm glad I told you about this place Axel. We both cycled through our EHX stuff and came here to be enlightened. And for English not being your primary language your word flow is quite natural.

CBA713 - i'm glad you liked it :) yeah, when i joined, i was aiming for AB-Synth or a Chalice, but instead, the FUzz Factory clone happened... and then TGD... and now Frazz Dazzler :D

theavondon - nice progress, i especially love how in the beginning we put something somewhere, surround it with wires (when it comes to you, you at least taped them to the board, that absolutely destroyed me  ) and called it a pedalboard like the biggest wannabes

one bad monkey: do it! :)

Green Jacket: um.. .yeah... i guess it's the only way to real happiness... :idk: :poke:

Seedy: yes, and i thank you for that :) this place became a second home for me... ehx.com is cool, but i don't miss it, mainly because those people there didn't have any sense of humour ;) oh and i'm glad to hear that :) writing this wasn't easy, but it wasn't as hard as i expected

it seems hella stupid, i know, BUT there's the boost button on the side, like on 95Q and 535Q and 535 and the case has raised borders so i couldn't reach it properly

despite this, it makes me look like a douche

I suppose I should start documenting my board, or lack thereof, more like just most of the space on my desk in my dorm room

I'll play! I seem to have gone through a TON of effects. I can't blame it all on ILF though, most of it is Talkbass('s???) fault. For realz.

This pic is actually from last year. So not that long ago. Didn't have a board, didn't care. I started out with the Auto Wah. As you can see, I didn't even have a tuner yet. I was still using one of those hand held crap ones. :picard: I miss the shit out of the Super Synth.

Image

Next up. Probably a month or two later. Who knows. The Super Synth left, Noisebox, tuner, Small Stone, Jamman came into the picture. Sweet noise making setup. Loved that Jamman. LOVED it...alas GAS struck again. Miss the Noisebox too damn it.

Image

Again, probably a few months later, if not a month later. lol. I got a cheap briefcase and a TAFM and Agent 00 Funk Mark II. The briefcase was so I could organize a bit, but as you can see, it didn't work out that great. Ohhhhhh Agent 00...I wanted you to love me like I loved you, but you had to be such an unpredictable whore! I'd set that thing up the way I wanted, play it, come back and it wasn't the same anymore. SOOOOOOOOO annoying, but I still miss it. GOD!

Image

Not an entire setup, but deserves noting. Got this thing, and it left almost as quickly as it came. Do I regret it? Yes. I seem to regret flipping a lot of effects. BUT! I got a sweet custom Fuzzhugger out of the deal, so I'm happy.

Image

Don't have a good picture of this without the black lines. But here is what I had for awhile there. Also the Moog. Sigh. Flipped most of this stuff. Still not sure why.

Image

Image

NEXT! I HAS too many pedals for my crappy briefcase!!!!!!!!!

Image

Image

Finally a pedal board!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Image

Taken last month I believe. Progression right?

Image

Taken this week. The TAFM is gone, the Fuzzrocious is probably going More is coming. My God, it never stops does it? What the fucK!!!!!

Seems very thin on the ILF stuff DA :grumpy:

Maybe you're a HCFX plant.

Well, since you asked so nicely... :)

I'm seriously considering scrapping the small board I'm using. It was originally built (based off the extensive talkbass.com Ikea Gorm shelves) from remnants of part of my entertainment center. After about a year of gigging with it, I've found the limitations of it and have tried to remedy it. One of which was putting a hinged ramp on it, so it can still fit in my small Gator bag, but when unfolded allows better access to the back row of effects.

Still not perfect though. I have a full workshop in the basement, so I really have no excuse.
