The only season I've watched was the season with John Lithgow, and he was fucking amazing. I was rooting for him the entire season. Once he was dead, I had no desire to keep watching since I hated every fucking other character on the show.

You're irritated by everything it seems, so you'll make it.
The last season with Julia Styles was pretty slow to me. Lithgow definitely was something to remember though.
