My real issue with how they run those operations is that they took away opportunities for the guys to change their mind at the last minute. I can't count how many times I've *almost* committed a crime, but then rethought it at the last second and didn't. Granted, none of those situations involved 14 year old girls, but still. :)

Like imagine if some teenager asks you to buy him some beer. You agree. Then when you're about to check out, you change your mind, put the beer back in the cooler, and give the kid his money back. In Chris Hansen's world of justice, you get arrested for "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" as soon as you get near the beer coolers in the grocery store...even though you didn't actually buy the beer; you merely had the intent to do so. Oh, and the teenager was actually 26-year-old first-year law student, so even if you had bought the beer and given it to him, it would've been totally legal.

Shit, I'd just buy the beer and keep it myself, maybe even drink it in front of the kid and throw bottle-caps at his face.

just old enough to buy booze/yes please/the land of bratwurst and beer.

Uhh, uh, I was just here for some soda. This bottle of cheap hooch and pocketful of condoms are what I always carry around.

Honestly though, I think that Dateline shit is totally entrapment. Obviously, I don't condone boning under-age chicks. But the guys who they arrest didn't bone a kid (in this case) and didn't even talk dirty to one since they were really talking to an old fat guy in a chat room. I don't think you should be arrested for the intent to fuck a kid. That's getting in to Minority Report territory, which is super creepy.

I definitely agree with that. Then again, I think that a lot of the stuff that law enforcement does these days is entrapment.

Pedos should get beat to shit during a nice life-sentence in jail...but yeah, that Dateline shit is walking a fine line of entrapment. Actually, that police are allowed to lie is really fucked up.

As for answering the a/s/l, I'm male and from Pennsylvania. I don't wanna say my age...cause once someone posted that they imagined me as an old beaded mountain man, and I like that image better.
